Sydney: Your Skills Are Already Worth Money – Start Earning on Lumo
The Job Hunt Doesn't Have to Be This Hard
If you're looking for work in Sydney right now, you already know how frustrating it is. Applications disappear into the void. Interviews lead nowhere. And even when you do find something, the pay rarely matches what you're actually capable of doing.
Here's what most people miss: the skills you use every day – getting around the city, putting things together, looking after animals – are worth real money right now. You don't need a new qualification or a lucky break. You just need a platform that pays you fairly for what you can already do.
Three Ways to Earn on Lumo
Lumo is a marketplace connecting Sydney locals who need help with independent contractors who can do the work. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own schedule, and keep 90% of what you earn. Here's what's available:
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you know your way around Sydney – from the Inner West to the Northern Beaches to Parramatta – and you've got reliable transport, delivery work lets you earn while you move. Perfect for people who'd rather be out than stuck behind a desk.
Furniture assembly: putting together beds, desks, shelves and flat-pack furniture Good with your hands? Enjoy the satisfaction of building something that actually works? Furniture assembly jobs suit people who are patient, methodical, and can follow instructions. Customers need this constantly, and they'll pay well for someone who gets it right.
Pet care: dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits If you're comfortable around animals and reliable, pet care work is steady and rewarding. Dogs need walking. Cats need feeding when their owners travel. It's straightforward work that makes a real difference to people and their pets.
You Get Paid the Same Day
Every job you complete on Lumo pays out the same day. No waiting two weeks for a paycheck. You work, you earn, you get paid. And right now, Lumo is recruiting 300 contractors across Sydney. Complete your first 100 jobs and you'll earn a loyalty bonus of 142 AUD (about $100 USD).
You already have what it takes. Stop waiting for permission to earn what you're worth. Apply on Lumo today and start taking jobs that fit your life.
