Keep 90% of Every Job You Do in The Bronx
You're Already Skilled—Now Get Paid What You Deserve
Finding good work in The Bronx is hard right now. Too many people are working long hours for less than their skills are worth. But the truth is, what you already know how to do—driving, fixing things, helping neighbors—has real value. Lumo is a local jobs marketplace where you keep 90% of what customers pay. You set your own hours, choose which jobs to take, and get paid the same day.
Lumo is recruiting 300 independent contractors across The Bronx right now. Whether you're in Fordham, Kingsbridge, or Hunts Point, you can start earning on your own terms.
Three Ways to Earn
Delivery: food, groceries and packages across town by car, bike or scooter If you've got reliable wheels and know your way around the borough, delivery work puts you in control. Pick up orders and drop them off—customers need everything from dinner to groceries to packages moved quickly. You decide when you're available and which deliveries you accept.
Handyman repairs: mounting TVs, fixing doors, patching walls and small repairs Good with tools? Neighbors across The Bronx need help with everyday fixes—hanging shelves, patching drywall, fixing squeaky doors, mounting flat-screens. If you can do small repairs, there's steady demand. You choose the jobs that fit your skills.
Laundry pickup: collect, wash, fold and return laundry for busy neighbors This one's straightforward: pick up laundry from people who don't have time, wash and fold it, and bring it back. It suits anyone with access to a washer and dryer and a bit of time during the week.
